The short version

Your files are processed in your browser and are never uploaded to our servers. We cannot see, store, or share what we never receive.

Files and tool content

Every FileNimbus tool (image compression, conversion, resizing, PDF merging, word counting) runs client-side using your browser's own capabilities. The images, documents, and text you work with stay in your device's memory and are discarded when you close the page.

Accounts

If you create an account we store: your username, an optional email address (for account recovery), a salted cryptographic hash of your password (never the password itself), and a history of tool events — which tool you used, when, and a short label such as a filename and size. We never store file contents. You can stop using the service at any time; contact us to delete your account and its data entirely.

Cookies

We set one first-party cookie (fn_session) to keep you signed in. Advertising partners (below) may set their own cookies as described in their policies.

Advertising

FileNimbus is supported by display advertising, including Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising atGoogle Ads Settings. Ads are never shown on sign-in, sign-up, or account pages.

Analytics

We use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) to understand which tools are used. It does not use cookies or track you across sites.
